Intensive Courses
Learning to drive this way is becoming more and more common as its best designed to suit those who have no time to spread lessons over months/years.
Those previously who have taking an intensive driving course have used work/school holidays etc to find time for the course.
Lessons are usually 2-3 hours long and this can be up to twice a day on any day (Mon-Sat) and at any time (8am-8pm).
Learning to drive this way can take up to 1-4 weeks to complete. All courses depending on assessment drive of 120 minutes.
The amount of hours need really depends on you as a person; others factors like the distance you live from the test centre can have a great effect too.
The average person usually takes around 60 hours to pass the test this way.
You can start & finish your lessons from your own designated area, maybe at your home or school address.
*Please Note: Before the intensive course can begin the theory test must be passed as the driving test can not be booked in advance on a specific date.
How does it work?
For example: The first thing would be to book an assessment lesson to decide how many hours would be needed. Once the assessment lesson has been done the theory must then be passed (if not done so already). The course would then be booked in with lessons every day and with the driving test planned for the end of training. A typical example for the hours maybe; 8.30 till 11.30 then 15.00 - 17.00 - the lesson times can be tailed to suit you. For details on all tests please visit the test preparation
